# Clean up Trilio database

The Trilio database is following an older OpenStack database schema.\
This schema is not forgetting anything and is instead setting the deleted flag for any data that is no longer valid/deleted.

This leads to ever-growing databases, which can lead to performance degradation.

To counter this a database clean-up and optimization tool has been made available.
