# Cleanup Failed Backups

This page describes how to setup cleanup policies for failed backups

This action creates the cleanup policy for the given namespace. Users may have to repeat the steps for each namespace. However, to define a cluster-wide cleanup policy, please refer to the [cleanup policy.](/kubernetes/user-guide/cli/triliovault-crds.md#cleanup-policy)
