# Cleanup Failed Backups

This action creates the cleanup policy for the given namespace. Users may have to repeat the steps for each namespace. However, to define a cluster-wide cleanup policy, please refer to the [cleanup policy.](https://docs.trilio.io/kubernetes/getting-started/getting-started-1/triliovault-crds#cleanup-policy)
