Cancel InProgress Backups

This describes how to cancel the in-progress backups.

The Backup Cancel feature is helpful when a backup is taking longer than expected and user wants to stop it.

User can cancel any in-progress backup from clicking on down arrow on right side of the backup as shown in the image:

Once an in-progress backup is canceled, it can not be resumed and is no longer usable for the user. You can check the status of a canceled backup as follows:

Only in-progress backups can be canceled, and cancel option is shown exclusively for them. Once backup has moved to the completed state, the cancel option is no longer visible in the UI.
